The first thing God said to man after creating and blessing him was: “Be fruitful, and multiply”, therefore it is our duty to bear good fruit, for it is part of God’s divine design.
The Bible tells us to produce or bear fruit.
Let us understand that parables are narratives spoken by Jesus that contain a religious and moral education, revealing a spiritual truth in a comparative way. The purpose of Jesus’ parables is to teach how a person should act in the kingdom of God.
So I have to ask myself these questions very often, does the same happen to you?

Es Diciembre, las calles y las casas se llenan con adornos, decoraciones, luces de colores, los colores que predominan son el verde, el rojo y el negro, también el gris; el clima esta frío, en algunas partes llueve, en otras cae nieve, la gente corre de un lado a otro, van muy deprisa, los supermercados están llenos, los centros comerciales abren más temprano y cierran más tarde, no hay donde estacionar el carro, muchas personas trabajan mientras otras están de vacaciones, algunas están en hospitales, otros cocinando sus platillos favoritos, y otros en las cárceles; hay muchos compromisos sociales, y también familiares.
Hoy alguien me preguntó ¿qué quiere Manny para Navidad? Mi respuesta fue: mantequilla de maní y galletas. Y esto me hizo pensar en muchas cosas en cuanto a mi persona y en lo que yo quiero para navidad. ¿Qué quieres tú para la navidad?

It’s December, and the streets and houses are filled with decorations and colored lights. The predominant colors are green, red, black, and gray, too. There’s cold weather, rain in some places, and in others snow falls. People run from one place to another really fast. Supermarkets are full and malls open early and close late. There’s nowhere to park the car. Many people work, while others are on vacation. Some are in hospitals, others cooking their favorite dishes, and others are in jail. There are many social and family commitments, too.
Someone asked me today, “What does Manny want for Christmas?” My answer was: “peanut butter and cookies”. And this made me think about lots of things about me as a person and what I want for Christmas. What do you want for Christmas?

In our country it is election time. Two ways, two directions, one man, one woman, two parties, and people that will choose and decide the course of this nation for the next four years or more. The time has come.
This election and decision is very important, but even more important is the decision and choice of what I wish for my future, my career, who to marry if single, and if married, what will I do along with my spouse, what I’ll do for my family, my children, my grandchildren, and even more with my relationship with God and His Son, where I’ll spend eternity.

En nuestro país estamos en semanas de elecciones presidenciales, dos tendencias, dos direcciones, un hombre, una mujer, dos partidos, un pueblo que elegirá y decidirá el rumbo de esta nación por los próximos cuatro años o quizás más, el momento ha llegado.
Esa elección y decisión es muy importante, pero aún más importante es la decisión y elección de lo que deseo para mi futuro, mi carrera, con quién me casare si estas soltero o soltera, y se estas casado o casada lo que harás con tu pareja, lo que hare para mi familia, mis hijos, mis nietos y mucho más mi relación con Dios y con su Hijo, donde pasare la eternidad.
