God is calling you. He has been teaching you and will be with you.

I know people who, if asked whether they want to serve the Lord in a particular ministry, reply by saying things like, “I do not feel I am capable”, “I still have to grow myself”, or “I do not think I have the talent”. The Word of God calls these excuses, and that is truth. No one is a hundred percent ready to serve God in anything. Through the Word we can see that God used ordinary people, with no great qualities or huge talents. The majority of servants God used in his work were prepared and taught by God himself.

Moses was taken by God to the desert where he spends forty years until God called him to free his people from slavery. During that time, God worked in the life of Moses to be a blessing to his people. However just like us when God calls us to do his work, we make excuses to serve God and there is no excuse that is valid. When God called Moses, Moses said to God: “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow in speech and tongue.” The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say”. Exodus 4:11-12

The same response of God to Moses is the same answer that God gives us all when we make excuses to serve Him. When we are going to do something for God’s work we have to understand that we are not us, but God is in us. God himself uses us to bring a blessing to others and to his Church. We cannot minimize the value we have as workmanship of God.

God says we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2.9), and he has given us his Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth to be with us forever. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know him, for He lives with you and will be in you. God says I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you (John 14.16-18).

We must let God act in us and work together in His Kingdom and outside so the Kingdom of God will continue growing for His glory. When God is in your life and insisting on your service, you should be happy, because God sees in you what you yourself might not see. You can become a great instrument of God, but you have to understand first what God wants from you and believe that He can use you.
It’s time to say in our hearts Lord: I am here! (Isaiah 6:8).

• We need more men and women like Isaiah to guide and teach our children every Sunday and Wednesday.
• We need more men and women to strengthen our youth.
• We need more men and women to show love and mercy of God on Saturday and Sunday meals with those who are suffering from hunger or poverty.
• We need more men and women to lead us in praise and worship.
• We need more men and women who are willing to talk about salvation that comes through Christ in our community whatever their race or language.
• We need more men and women to share God’s blessings on Tuesdays and Thursdays with those who are in need as Jesus did.
• We need more men and women concentrated to prayer, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Luke 10:2)

Can you say: Yes, Lord, Here I am!

Dios te llama, Él te enseñara y estará contigo.

Conozco muchas personas que al ser preguntados que si pueden servir a Dios en alguna área la respuestas son: “Es que no me siento totalmente capaz”, “Es que tengo que mejorar”, “Es que creo no tengo talentos”.

La Palabra de Dios llama a esto excusas y la verdad que los son. No tienen ningún fundamento para Dios, y la razón es porque ¿Quién está preparado cien por ciento para servir a Dios en algo? A través de la Palabra se puede ver que Dios utilizo a personas comunes, normales, sin grandes cualidades o enormes talentos. La gran mayoría de siervos que Dios uso para su obra, fueron preparados y enseñados por Dios mismo.

Moisés fue llevado por Dios al desierto en donde paso cuarenta años antes de que Dios lo llamara para liberar a su pueblo de la esclavitud. Durante ese tiempo Dios trabajo en la vida de Moisés para que fuera de bendición a su pueblo. Sin embargo al igual que nosotros cuando Dios nos llama para hacer su obra ponemos excusas para servirle a Dios y no hay excusa que valga.

Cuando Dios llama a Moisés y le dice en que lo puede usar Moisés le dijo a Dios: “Ay, Señor! nunca he sido hombre de fácil palabra, ni antes, ni desde que tú hablas a tu siervo; porque soy tardo en el habla y torpe de lengua. ” Éxodo 4:10. Dios responde a la excusa de Moisés: “¿Quién dio la boca al hombre? ¿o quién hizo al mudo y al sordo, al que ve y al ciego? ¿No soy yo Jehová? Ahora pues, ve, y yo estaré con tu boca, y te enseñaré lo que hayas de hablar.” Éxodo 4:11-12

La misma respuesta de Dios a Moisés es la misma respuesta que Dios nos da a todos nosotros cuando ponemos excusas para servirle. Y es que cuando vamos a realizar algo determinado para la obra de Dios tenemos que entender que no somos nosotros, sino Dios en nosotros, es Dios mismo quien nos utilizara para ser de bendición a otros que no le conocen y a su iglesia.

No podemos despreciarnos y quitarnos el valor tan grande que Dios nos ha dado. Dios dice que nosotros somos linaje escogido, real sacerdocio, nación santa, pueblo adquirido por Dios para anunciar las virtudes de aquel que nos llamó de las tinieblas a su luz admirable (1 Pedro 2.9). Dios nos ha dado su Espíritu Santo para que esté con nosotros para siempre: el Espíritu de verdad, al cual el mundo no puede recibir, porque no le ve, ni le conoce; pero vosotros le conocéis, porque mora con nosotros, y estará en nosotros (Juan 14.16-18).

Debemos dejar que Dios actué en nosotros y trabajar juntos dentro de su reino y fuera de su reino para para que el reino de Dios continúe creciendo para gloria de Él. No creas que no eres el indicado, al contrario, cuando Dios este insistiendo en tu vida sobre el servicio deberías alegrarte, porque Dios mira en ti lo que tú mismo quizá no ves y es que para Dios puedes ser un gran instrumento para su obra, pero para ello necesitas entender que Él quiere y puede usarte.

Es momento de decir en nuestro corazón Señor: ¡HEME AQUÍ! Como lo hizo el profeta (Isaías 6:8).

Necesitamos:

• Más hombres y mujeres como Isaías para guiar y enseñar a nuestros niños cada domingo y cada miércoles.
• Más hombres y mujeres para fortalecer nuestros jóvenes, más hombres y mujeres para mostrar el amor y la misericordia de Dios los sábados y domingos en las comidas que tenemos para aquellos que no tienen las comodidades que nosotros tenemos.
• Más hombres y mujeres que nos guíen en la alabanza y la adoración.
• Más hombres y mujeres que estén dispuestos a dar testimonio de la salvación que viene a través de Cristo a nuestra comunidad cualquiera que sea su raza o su idioma.
• Más hombres y mujeres que compartan las bendiciones de Dios martes y jueves con aquellos que tienen necesidades como Jesús lo hiso.
• Más hombres y mujeres consagrados a la oración “La cosecha es mucha, pero los obreros pocos; rueguen, por tanto, al Señor de la cosecha que envíe obreros a Su cosecha” Lucas 10.2
