Memory Keepers, a genealogy club made up of about 15 SOCC members, will present a program on Friday, July 8 at 7:00pm in the reception room. You will learn there is much more to pursue than just dates. They will tell how they got interested in research, stories of ancestors they have found, show family artifacts and present projects they have constructed. You will be surprised by all the different detective directions they have used to assemble ancestor photos and information. These discoveries have allowed them to create albums, CDs, power points, charts and books. Some are also writing their own memoirs. Refreshments and a question/answer session will follow the presentation. This is definitely not a dusty, stodgy bunch!
