Our Vacation Bible School will begin on July 30 – August 2, from 10 am – 2 pm. Our week will culminate with an Art Show on Friday, August 3, from 6 – 8 pm. The Art Show will include the Youth and Children’s Ministries. We will begin registration on July 8th. If you would like to volunteer as a teacher, cook, or any other position, please contact Laurie Templeton. Kindergarten to 6th grade.

A few couples from SOCC have begun to meet weekly with international students on the UNT campus. These students are hungry to speak English and make American friends. What an opportunity to build relationships! The number of students has grown and we’re looking for more folks who want to host a conversation group. If you don’t want to host but are interested in other ways to get involved, the possibilities are endless: offer students a ride to Walmart, take them out for ice cream, invite them to a holiday meal, etc. If you’re gung-ho or just wanting to learn a bit more, contact Kathleen Prowell at 316-258-9281 or kathleenprowell@gmail.com.

We are in need of Drivers who will be able to pickup and take home a few of our members who are unable to drive themselves to worship. This is done on a monthly rotation, you would bring this person to church for an entire month. If you can help in this way contact Judy or Brent in the church office at 940.387.4355.
