Sunday, September 30, we are having an International potluck, following the 2nd service, as part of our Mission Sunday. Please bring a dish from either Latin America or Asia. There will also be special tables to sample authentic food from areas where Singing Oaks does mission work.

Join us Sunday, September 30, when we will continue our focus on Singing Oaks world-wide mission efforts. We will have videos, a live interview, special classes for grades 1-12, displays with details of how you can participate in our mission, and an International Pot luck.

Join us for a morning of running and walking to raise awareness of hunger in our community. Not only are we raising awareness, but with your participation, we will be able to do something about it. Monies raised from the event and donations (monetary and food gifts) will go directly to 7 food agencies in the Denton area (Including Singing Oaks).

The seniors will host their annual fall luncheon in the Fellowship Room Sunday, October 7 immediately following second service. A catered meal by Smokehouse BBQ will be served. Bob Bentley will entertain us with amusing or embarrassing stories about his and Michelle’s adventures as missionaries. All seniors are invited. There is no cost for the meal but we ask that you advise the church office (940-387-4253) by October 3 of your intention to attend so that we can get an accurate count for the meal.
