Revelation Wellness of North Texas along with SOCC’s Own Sarah Davis Nutrition will be presenting a Nutrition Workshop, Saturday, September 21, 9-11am in the SOCC Fellowship room. Sarah will be going over how to read a nutrition label on prepackaged foods, why all calories are not created equal and why “low fat” is not helpful among other things. Join us for this very educational workshop and learn the best ways to use this information in the “real” world.

Sunday, Sept. 22, we will have a Ministry Fair during the bible class hour. Children’s classes will still meet but all adults are encouraged to attend the Ministry Fair. We will be highlighting six ministries this year: Friends Speak, Children’s ministry, World Bible School, Benevolence, Food for the homeless, and Greeting Ministry. Leaders of those ministries will making short presentations about their ministries and will be answering questions you may have. This is a great opportunity for you to find out what is going on at Singing Oaks, how to get involved, and where help is needed.

Believers from all over North Texas will be gathering at Singing Oaks for some Fall SINGing. The theme for the night is “Celebrate Victory!” Come worship with believers from all over DFW Metroplex. We will be celebrating the Victory we have because of Jesus!.
We will have guest leaders and worship teams from Dallas/Ft. Worth joining in with the Singing Oaks Singers as we encourage one another and share in a great time of fellowship starting at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29th, 2013. Save the date on your calendars and plan to attend and invite a friend. This will be a night of wonderful fellowship, inspirational messages and beautiful music.
