VBS 2015 – LOVE>fear

VBS has come at us with a vengeance, not only has the staff here at SOCC spent the last two weeks working night and day to set it up, but we have also made it half way through! The buildup for this event has been long in the making. Months of planning, checking, recruiting and blood sweat and tears have brought us to these moments.

It’s been a long road…there have been a plethora of ideas tossed around, the best and brightest of us even attempted to rent a real lion and find an actual giant for Goliath. Needless to say these best and brightest have tucked their tails in defeat and gone the more traditional route of VBS.

In the end though, every moment of annoyance, desperation (when trying to find a lion) and anxiety attack was worth the cost. We have had a HUGE amount of kids between the ages of Kindergarten through 4th grade stampeding our halls, growing closer to each other, Christ, and the Holy Father.

God has truly blessed our VBS.
