The Greatest Wisdom

If the Lord appeared to you one night and said, ”I’ll give you anything you want,” what would you ask for? Health? Wealth? Happiness? What?

That’s the choice Solomon had to make early in his life. What if you could have anything? Anything your heart desires. So, what is your heart’s greatest desire? For Solomon it was wisdom…above all else wisdom. Is that what you would have asked for? I don’t know how many people would make that choice. I do know that God wants us to ask for it, and He will give it. James tells us this:

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. — James 1:1-5.

May we all pray for wisdom.
