SOCC Youth – Volunteer Opportunities
What’s your role?
Every good team is comprised of many talented people. But, as we learned from the 2004 Olympic Dream Team, the most talented people do not always make the best team.
Here at SOCC, we want to become the best team that we can possibly be. We know that it takes a village to raise a child ,and it will take the strength of God, through many people, to raise these teens. We are not looking for the most talented, rather we are looking for those who are passionate about working with teens, mature in their faith, and who are willing to grow in their abilities.
As a volunteer, there are a number of opportunities for you to serve this church and in particular this youth ministry. Each one of these opportunities is vital to the discipleship process. Below is a number of opportunities available for you to serve the teens here. Please prayerfully consider your top three opportunities.
Up Front
Behind the Scenes
Ever watch the credits at the end of a really good movie? Well, you do if your name is in the credits. Every good movie is comprised of many people that operate behind the scenes. Like movies, really good ministries depend on a lot of humble behind the scenes people. If you are someone who does not like to be out front or does not have the flexibility to be with teens all the time, then this section is perfect for you.
