Mission
The Worship Ministry seeks to glorify Christ by humbly modeling heartfelt praise, leading others to more complete and passionate lives of worship.
Philosophy
The Worship Ministry serves to facilitate worship in our assemblies. We honor God each time we worship because God takes our worship personally. Worship can happen everyday in everything we are doing. As we offer God the simple moments and activities of each day, we make our very life an offering of worship, allowing His presence to invade our lives.
We would like to be a church …
- where God is worshipped joyfully and reverently
- where the music is Christ-honoring, contemporary and relevant
- where worship is a significant event that encourages believers and transforms them into the triumphant faith community of God
- where worship communicates to the guest the greatness of our God, the joyfulness of the Christian life, and the emptiness of life without Jesus
Worship Focused Values – John 4:19-24
We believe that God created us in His own image, thus uniqely equipping us for a vital relationship with Him, which is ultimately expressed as we worship Him in spirit and truth

Worship Teams
Music is an important part of worship assemblies at Singing Oaks. Music povides a way for us to tell God how much we love, adore, and thank Him. We also use music to encourage one another in faith.
A cappella music is a long standing tradition at Singing Oaks. We have a group of passionate and gifted singers to lead us in most worship assemblies through song. Our worship teams spend many hours in preparation for leading our church.
These gifted singers are auditioned annually. With a blend of contemporary and traditional songs, these worship teams provide an atmosphere in our assemblies where people can encounter God. This is especially important since we realize the value of how God can touch lives through worship to Him. It aids our guests from the community who visit our assemblies that may not know any of our songs to learn them easier without feeling left out.
Worship Technology
“Unseen for His Glory” is the motto of this ministry team. These great people serve behind the scenes by providing quality sound, lighting, and other visual multimedia.
Ministry Team
The ministry team is looking for people who are interested in organizing and managing various parts of the Worship Ministry. Service opportunities include filing, organizing, preparing worship agendas, reviewing and/or editing media presentations and more.
